Elfindo is a personalized Advent calendar in the form of an audiobook and an ebook. Over 24 days you explore the Christmas world of a young elf and discover a story connected to your child’s letter. Every chapter brings something new and takes you closer to Christmas Eve.

Your December, chapter by chapter

  1. First, a letter to Santa

    Before the story begins, your child writes or draws their wishes. Send the letter the way your family always does at Christmas.

  2. A few details from you

    When ordering, you’ll share the wishes from the letter and selected information about your child. We use them to prepare your version of the story.

  3. On December 1 you meet Elfindo

    The first chapter opens the doors to Elf Town. It’s a good moment to sit down together and see what lies on the other side.

  4. Every day you return to the adventure

    You listen to or read the next part. Familiar details appear gradually, along with the hero’s discoveries.

  5. On Christmas Eve you reach the finale

    The last chapter falls on December 24. After Christmas, you’ll be able to return to the whole story.

A calendar that echoes your letter

The story draws on the wishes in the letter, your child’s interests and selected details of their everyday life. So before ordering, keep the contents of the letter and think of a few things your young listener will easily recognize. How they appear in the story will remain a surprise.

How it works

Listen or read together

The audiobook lets you explore the world through the characters’ voices, music and sounds. The ebook lets you read at your own pace, pause at a question or return to a favorite conversation between the characters. Both tell the same adventure.

An adventure for siblings

We are also preparing a version for several children. They can write one shared letter or separate cards. Each child will have their own wishes and personal details in the story, and you’ll discover the whole story together. We’ll announce the available options before sales begin.

For children aged around 5–9

We are preparing the first adventure mainly for children aged around 5–9. The language is simple, but the world is full of discoveries, and the characters also face fear, mistakes and longing. Younger or especially sensitive children may appreciate having you alongside them while listening.
