Elfindo

Elfindo’s first adventure

Questions before the first chapter

We’ve gathered the most important information about the first story, personalization and the planned launch.

About the story

What is Elfindo?

Elfindo is a personalized Christmas story and the name of its main character — a young elf from the far North. We are preparing an audiobook and an ebook in 24 parts, one for each day from December 1 to 24. The story is connected to your child’s letter to Santa, and the details shared by the parent give it a personal touch.

Should my child send a letter to Santa first?

Yes, that’s the best place to start. Your child can write down their wishes or draw them, then send the letter the way your family always does. The story lets them imagine what happens to it next. The parent shares the wishes when ordering the story. Signing up for the launch notification does not require any of this information.

Is my child the hero of the journey?

The main character of the story is Elfindo, a young elf. Thanks to the personalization, your child will recognize familiar names, interests and everyday details in the story. They can listen, discover and be surprised — without making decisions that change the plot.

What age is Elfindo for?

The first story is being made mainly for children aged around 5–9. The language is accessible to younger listeners too, but the plot includes suspense, longing and some sadder moments. Let your child’s sensitivity and the kind of stories they enjoy guide your choice. Younger children may appreciate having you alongside them.

Are there scary or sad moments in the story?

It’s a warm adventure story with humor, but also with suspense and touching moments. It deals with longing, farewells and coping with difficulties. There are no brutal descriptions. Younger and especially sensitive children may appreciate having you alongside them while listening.

Your version of the story

How does personalization work?

We weave selected information from the parent or guardian into the story. It may include the child’s name, age, wishes, close people, interests, pets or everyday details. Thanks to them, your child finds something familiar in a fairy-tale world. The specific scenes and moments of these discoveries are for you to find while listening together.

Can the story be for siblings?

We are planning one shared story for several children, with each child’s own wishes and details. The children can write a shared letter or separate cards. We’ll announce the available options and the number of participants before orders open.

What information about my child will you need?

When ordering, we’ll ask for the information the story needs, including the wishes from the letter and selected everyday details. We don’t need your child’s surname, full address, exact date of birth or school name. The current notification form collects only the parent’s or guardian’s e-mail and consent to be contacted.

Do the gifts in the story have to match the ones under the tree?

Wishes are an important part of the plot, so it’s worth making sure the information you share for the story is consistent with your Christmas plans. Elfindo is an audiobook and an ebook — it does not include the delivery of physical gifts. We’ll describe how wishes are handled in the first story before orders open.

Listening and launch

Is Elfindo an Advent calendar?

Yes. The chapters form an Advent calendar to listen to or read, with the finale on Christmas Eve. It’s one continuous story, not 24 separate tales. Before the first chapter, we encourage you to send a letter to Santa — the story picks up the wishes written in it.

How long is one chapter?

We expect about 3–5 minutes of listening per chapter. It’s a short part of a bigger adventure you can return to every day at a time that suits you. When reading the ebook together, you set the pace and the time for conversation yourselves.

Can we discover the whole story without daily breaks?

Yes, the story is also designed to work as one longer whole. The rhythm of one chapter a day ties it to the countdown to Christmas Eve, but it isn’t the only way to listen. We’ll share the details of chapter release and the access period before sales begin.

When will orders open and how will I hear about the launch?

We plan to open orders before December 1, 2026, so the first adventure can be with you from the start of December. We are currently working on the product and are not selling it yet. Sign up for the notification and we’ll e-mail you when orders open. Signing up is free and does not commit you to buying anything. We’ll announce the price and offer details before sales begin.
